Library

Our Library Resource Centre is open to students throughout the school day. Each grade visits the Library at least once a week to sign out books and access learning materials. We usually read stories or do literacy-based games to expand their knowledge, whether it be fictional characters or learning the basics of our non-fiction section.

From home you can search our library's resources by author, title, subject, keyword, series, editor/illustrator, or "sounds like" searches using our L4U™ Library Software. You can also search library resources at other schools within our Board.

If you are at one of our schools, you can search our library's resource here.,

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go.”~Dr. Seuss, “I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!”

Our Space

The Learning Commons is used for a multiple of purposes, it not only serves as a library, but also as a meeting room for our monthly staff meetings, an open area for students to work on projects with technology that is readily available, and a great space for presentations. It also houses our yearly Book Fair where we raise money for new books.

The Collection

Our collection is close to 9500 books. Thanks to our partnership with Coles Northumberland this past year we have been able to add exponentially to it. We have a vast array of non-fiction, young adult, fiction and picture books for our students to choose from each week.
